When were Simon, Andrew, James and John called to be disciples? John indicates that Andrew brought Simon to Jesus (John 1:40-42), but says nothing about James or John. Matthew (4:18-20) and Mark (1:16-18) speak about Jesus calling Peter and Andrew from their nets, then James and John afterward. Finally, Luke (5:1-11) speaks of Jesus calling Simon, Andrew, James and John together by way of a miraculous catch of fish. Is there a contradiction?

How old was Abraham when he left Haran? Genesis 12:4 says that he was 75 years old, however, Acts 7:2-4 and Genesis 11:26, 32 indicate that he had to be at least 135 years old. Is there a contradiction?

Can God be seen? Several verses indicate that He can be (Genesis 12:7; 17:1; 18:1; 26:2, 24; 32:30; 35:1, 7, 9, 48:3; Exodus 3:16; 4:5; 6:3; 24:9-11; 33:11, 23; Numbers 14:14; Deuteronomy 5:4; 34:10; Judges 13:22; 1 Kings 22:19; Job 42:5; Psalm 63:2; Isaiah 6:1, 5; Ezekiel 20:35; Amos 7:7; 9:1; Habakkuk 3:3-5). However, there are some verses which say He cannot be seen (Exodus 33:20; John 1:18; 6:46; 1 Timothy 1:17; 6:16; 1 John 4:12). Is there a contradiction?

How many sons did Abraham have? In Hebrews 11:17 and Genesis 22:2, Isaac is spoken of as Abraham's only begotten son. Yet in Genesis 16:15, Hagar bore a son (Ishmael) to Abraham, and afterwards, Keturah (Genesis 25:1-2) bore him 6 more sons. Is there a contradiction?
