Is everyone descended from Adam and Eve? Genesis 3:20 says yes, but Hebrews 7:3 indicates that Melchizedek was not descended from them. Is there a contradiction?

Several verses say "yes" (Gen 4:19, 16:1-4, 25:6, 26:34, 28:9, 31:17, Ex 21:10, Deut 21:15, Jdg 8:30, 1 Sam 1:1-2, 2 Sam 12:7-8, 1 Kgs 11:2-3, 1 Chr 4:5, 2 Chr 11:21, 13:21, 24:3, Mt 25:1, 1 Tim 3:2, Tit 1:6-7). Does God approve of capital punishment? Genesis 9:6 says that whoever kills man must be killed, whereas Genesis 4:15 reveals that the killer must not be killed. Is there a contradiction?

How many sons did God have? Some texts clearly tell us that He only had one son (John 3:18; 1 John 4:9), while other texts clearly tell us that God had many sons (Genesis 6:2, 4; Job 1:6; 2:1). Is there a contradiction?

Several passages tell us that God does not repent (Numbers 23:19; 1 Samuel 15:29; Ezekiel 24:14; Malachi 3:6; James 1:7), and yet, so many more say that He does (Genesis 6:6; Exodus 32:14; Deuteronomy 32:36; 1 Samuel 15:11, 35; 24:16; 1 Chronicles 21:15; Jeremiah 15:6; 18:8; 26:3, 13, 19; 42:10; Amos 7:3, 6; Jonah 3:10).
