Here are the last 5 issues of Answering The Atheist. Check the archives below for more Answers to supposed Bible contradictions.
Volume 8, Issue 8 [February 24, 2008] Who did Elhanan kill? 2 Samuel 21:19 says that he killed Goliath (the words "the brother of" were inserted by the KJV translators to avoid the obvioius contradiction with 1 Samuel 17:49-51), but 1 Chronicles 20:5 says that he killed Lahmi, the brother of Goliath? Is there a contradiction?
Volume 8, Issue 7 [February 17, 2008] How old was Abram when Ishmael was born? Genesis 16:16 says that he was 86, but other verses say that he was over 135? Is there a contradiction?
Volume 8, Issue 6 [February 10, 2008] Who cast Jonah into the sea? Was it the sailors (Jonah 1:15) or was it God (Jonah 2:3)? Is there a contradiction?
Volume 8, Issue 5 [February 3, 2008] Will there be many Jews? Genesis 26:4 says yes, but Deuteronomy 4:27 says no. Is there a contradiction?
Volume 8, Issue 4 [January 27, 2008] Where was Joash buried? 2 Kings 12:20-21 says that he was buried with the other kings, but 2 Chronicles 24:24-25 says that he was not buried with the other kings. Is there a contradiction?

OUR MISSIONIf one ignorantly believes the Bible is full of contradictions, there is
little we can do to help. Even if we 'solve' a few supposed contradictions, opponents of the Bible have amassed a seemingly endless supply of apparent discrepancies. What is most unsettling to me is that Satan may gain the victory over a child of God overwhelmed by a myriad of assumed inconsistencies. Thus, we have determined to create and maintain Answering The Atheist. (more details by clicking "Why call it ANSWERING THE ATHEIST?" above)
We pray the material presented will be helpful in solidifying the perfect nature of God's word in the minds of the elect,
and that it will enable us to defend Scriptures effectively against Bible antagonists. And perhaps, by the grace and mercy of God, those who resist the truth might be silenced and come to glorify God.
