God Has The Answers... To ?s Of Origin
IS THERE A GOD?
"God Has The Answer..." is a series of tracts written several years ago for use in a Bible booth at a local fair.

There is a scientific law known as The Law of Excluded Middle. This law affirms that something either is, or it is not. Concerning the existence of God, either He is, or He is not. Either it is reasonable and intellectual to believe in a Supreme Being, or it is a foolish and careless leap of blind faith.

The existence of God cannot be proven by satisfying our human senses. God is neither seen, smelled, touched, etc.. However, an indisputable case can be made for His existence, whereby an intelligent and honest person will conclude that God is. It is noteworthy to mention that the Bible makes no effort to prove God's existence. It boldly, and without doubt affirms of Him, "I AM". Thus, let us consider some important matters concerning the existence of the God of heaven.

It is an undeniable truth that mankind, regardless of where you go, or who you consider, is a religious being. In all nations of the earth, there is an overwhelming inclination to worship. The greater part of the population of the earth are in agreement that there is some higher being than man who exists. Of those who will deny that God exists, we still find such people exalting something (be it nature, money, ancestors, etc.). Either the greater part of mankind is irrational, or it is reasonable to believe in the existence of a Being greater than ourselves, to whom worship is due.

Consider that the design of the universe in which we live attests to the existence of God. We have been bombarded for years with the theory of evolution, but no study on the origin of life can help but come back to the Eternal God. Note the intricate workings of the universe. So great are the details and functions of the universe, that to say such is the result of random chance is absurd. Consider the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide between plant-life and mammals. Consider the design of the human body. Such wondrous detail cannot come from random happenings any more than you can create a watch by simply shaking a box which contains all the needed pieces. Shake and shake, you will not end up with a watch. Why? A watch has design, and purpose. Design and purpose demands that there be a designer, or in this instance, a watchmaker. Creation bears the qualities of design and purpose. Being infinitely more complex than a watch, how much more then does it demand a Designer, a Creator, the Eternal God of heaven?

There are certain questions which the Atheist cannot answer. Those who deny the existence of God are forced to say that life came from that which has no life. He is forced to affirm that intelligence is a product of that which is without intelligence. He must defend that morality came from that which is void of morals. Anyone who is of sound mind and objectively examines the case will conclude that God must exist. Life comes from God, who put into man the breath of life (Genesis 2:7). God designed man with the ability to think and discern. He gave him a law, a standard of right and wrong. Eliminate the existence of God, and the explanation for who we are and how we conduct ourselves is gone.

Is there a God? With no doubt, we can proclaim that He is. Creation demands a Creator. Life demands a Life-Giver. Morality demands a Law-Giver. The evidence points to the existence of God. The evidence demands His existence.

We have been bombarded for years with the theory of evolution, but no study on the origin of life can help but come back to the Eternal God.

Who was Amasa's father? 2 Samuel 17:25 identifies him as "Ithra the Israelite", while 1 Chronicles 2:17 says it was "Jether the Ishmaelite". Is there a contradiction?
