G.O.S.P.E.L.
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ,
for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes,
for the Jew first and also the Greek." (Romans 1:16)
GOOD NEWS / GLAD TIDINGS
Gospel is good news!!
Jesus preached glad tidings (Luke 8:1; Matthew 4:23)
We need to hear the glad tidings (Romans 10:14-17)
The GOSPEL in a nutshell (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 3:20-26; 5:8)
ONLY ONE
SALVATION
Man needs salvation (Acts 2:40; Isaiah 59:1-2; Romans 3:23; 6:23)
God's word leads us to salvation (Romans 1:16; Ephesians 1:13; James 1:21)
Salvation should not be delayed (2 Corinthians 6:2; Acts 24:25; Acts 26:28)
It is available to all who will come (Titus 2:11; Hebrews 5:9)
PERISH
The unrepentant will perish (Luke 13:1-5)
Jesus died so that none should perish (John 3:16)
Many will perish believing a lie (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12; 2 Peter 2:12, 18)
God does not want any to perish (2 Peter 3:9)
EVERYONE
LIBERTY
We have been freed (Galatians 5:1)
Be careful how our liberty is used (Galatians 5:13-15; 1 Peter 2:15-16)
Some promise liberty, but bring bondage (2 Peter 2:19)
